About the Fund for Cultural Participation

The Fund for Cultural Participation is there for anyone with an idea for a project related to cultural education or participation. The Fund provides grants to cultural and heritage initiatives throughout the Kingdom, both at school and during leisure time, across all disciplines. In this way, the Fund encourages everybody to participate in culture and heritage.

Why should you attend this webinar?

There are many wonderful initiatives on the islands related to cultural heritage participation. Not all initiatives flourish, for example, due to a lack of funding. The Fund can offer a solution, as it provides financial support to projects that ensure more people participate in culture and heritage. Of course, your project must meet certain requirements. Which ones? You'll hear about them on October 14th!

What are we doing on October 14th?

The Fund's advisors will explain the various grants available for projects related to amateur arts, cultural education, and co-creation. The Fund has already supported many valuable projects in the Dutch Caribbean. Several organizations that have received grants will share their experiences with the Fund during the webinar. How did they apply for the grant? What did they do with the money? There will, of course, be time to ask questions and connect with each other.

The first part of the webinar will be general; afterward, we will split into smaller groups to learn more about the Fund's various grants.

What can I expect from this webinar?

The Cultural Participation Fund explains the new program for the Caribbean. Foundations that have already received funding will share their experiences with both the application process and the projects that have been realized. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions and share your experiences.

Is this webinar right for you?

Do you work as a heritage professional, for a foundation specializing in heritage education, in the museum sector, as a consultant, or are you interested in cultural participation in some other way? Then we cordially invite you to participate!
